The sponsorship record, on the job page you are reading
Open a job on LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or Workable and a small panel shows what the official data says about that employer in each country. One click fills the application form from your saved details.
Download the extension (.zip)Unzip the download
Keep the folder somewhere permanent. The browser loads the extension from it.
Open the extensions page
Go to chrome://extensions, switch on Developer mode (top right), and choose Load unpacked.
Select the folder
Pick the unzipped folder. Pin AscentWork to the toolbar and add your details for autofill.
What it shows
- Whether the employer is in the official sponsor data, per country
- How many filings, positions or permits are on record
- A link to the full employer record
- "Not found" stated plainly, with a search link, when the name does not match
What it does not do
- It never submits a form for you
- It fills empty fields only, and never answers eligibility or legal questions
- Your details stay in your browser; they are not sent to AscentWork
- It reads only the company name on the job page you open
Early version. Job sites change their pages often, so the panel may not appear on some layouts. It installs by hand for now; a Chrome Web Store listing is planned.
