Who we are
This site is operated by AscentWork ("AscentWork", "we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and AscentWork.
What AscentWork is
AscentWork organises public government data about employers and visa sponsorship, and links to job postings on employers' own sites. It is an information service. It is not a recruiter, an employer, a law firm or a regulated immigration adviser, and it does not provide immigration, legal, tax or financial advice.
No guarantee of sponsorship or employment
A licence, a past filing or a label on this site describes an employer's record. It does not mean that an employer will sponsor you or any particular role, that a job is still open, or that you qualify for a visa. Decisions about hiring and sponsorship are made by employers, and decisions about visas by governments.
Accuracy
We reproduce official data as published and show the date it is good to. Official data can contain errors and can be out of date, and our matching of names, jobs and countries can be wrong. Salary thresholds and immigration rules change. Check the official source before acting. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for your own job search and research. You may not scrape or bulk-download it, resell its content, interfere with its operation, or use it to harass or discriminate against any person or employer.
Employer contacts
Contact details shown to Pro members come from public US government filings. You may use them only to send individual, relevant messages about your own job search. You may not export them in bulk, add them to mailing lists, sell them, or use them for marketing.
Pro subscriptions
Pro is sold through Stripe either as a monthly subscription, billed in advance and renewing until cancelled, or as a 3-month or 12-month pass paid once that ends on its own and does not renew. You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time from the Account page; access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices are shown in your local currency where we support it and may change with notice before a renewal. Where the law gives you a right to a refund or to withdraw, it applies.
Third-party sites
Job postings and official sources are on sites we do not control. Your use of them is under their terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, AscentWork is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make in reliance on the site, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
